Volunteer Services

There are many ways to give, and at URSW, volunteers give their time, energy and creativity to programs and activities that benefit refugee and minority communities.

Volunteers work with URSW staff members to help run ongoing programs, including youth tutoring, seniors meals and organizing food bank donations. Many volunteers are needed for special URSW events like the Annual Cultural Diversity Festival.

Tutors Needed
Do you love to work with children and youth? Tutors for the URSW After School Tutoring Service are always welcome! During the school year, URSW recruits volunteer tutors to work with school-aged youth after school (3-6 PM, weekdays) in the schools the students attend. There are opportunities for elementary, middle school and high school tutoring. Call 256-6400 to find out more!.
