5th ASIAN AMERICAN SUMMER FESTIVAL 2005

August 27-28

Day time @ Reindhal Park on East Washington Ave & Portage Rd.

Evening @ MATC, 3550 Anderson Street, on Stoughton Rd & Anderson Street.

Program Activities: Beauty contest, Vocal & Dance competition. Sports events including Soccer, Volleyball, Kato, Tublub.

 

 

January 2004

Sat 31 - "Hmong at Heart" Exhibit Opens At Madison Children's Museum.
The first nationally touring exhibit focusing on Hmong culture produced for a youth audience opens to the public on Saturday, January 31 at the Madison Children's Museum.

The opening celebration includes free admission for all visitors; Hmong craft activities, demonstrations and food samples; and a performance by Call for Peace Drum and Dance Company at 12 p.m.

The exhibit, developed in partnership with United Refugee Services of Wisconsin and KajSiab House, will remain in Madison through May 30, 2004 before moving on to several other museums across the country.
